# 181. ʻOpihi Kasa, 72″ x 54″ x 5″
Wall-mounted ceramic installation at the Mauna Kea Resort on Hawaiʻi Island.
The work synthesizes forms rooted in Hawaiʻi’s natural and cultural landscapes — ʻopihi (endemic Hawaiian limpets), and kasa (conical woven hats worn by plantation-era laborers).
